Chow Kit Welfare Centre
Social Care Welfare Centre is designed to accommodate the disadvantage society such as street children and homeless. other than that, this welfare centre also aimed to provide a place where all type of ages of chow kit community can interact and get informal educations, a healthy and lifelong learning activities. social care welfare centre is designed in urban site which also have its own historical and heritage side.
“SC Welfare Centre” itself provide facilities in all terms such as therapy and psychologist support, education, sports, commercial and community based facilities. this welfare centre focusing on how to interact people inside to outside and vice versa. the transition space between statics spaces is designed as a internal green space where interaction between community can happen and become as the linkage between the spaces in the building.
the main issues in the site is this site does not active during day as they only have commercial activities around site but it active during night. this site also near to the homeless and street kids group which appeared most on night. this kind of issues related to the inside out transition concept where it includes both psychology and activities of humans.
